International security solutions firm G4S is tracking savings of more than £1 million on its UK recruiting since contracting Sheffield-based TribePad to streamline its online hiring strategy in November last year.

The team was tasked with creating the security giant’s Global Careers Centre in 2010 with a view to reducing costs, improving efficiencies and delivering a recruitment solution geared towards today’s online social and business environment.

TribePad – part of Talent on View Ltd – specialises in the development of inclusive social network and recruitment platforms (or social recruiting systems) for organisations of all sizes.

The system integrates multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and an online corporate career centre that provides all the facilities required to take a candidate from attraction through to employment and beyond. TribePad’s talent management system forms the backbone to the whole site.

Following the success of the UK system, G4S is planning a rollout to its Australian, African, New Zealand and Netherlands enterprises.

The TribePad system is available in over 37 languages – including Welsh and Hebrew – and the company is in talks with global businesses in the pharmaceutical, FMCG and media industries to create similar packages. TribePad can automatically match jobs against millions of potential candidates in less than one second, and will alert both the candidate and the hiring manager of the match.
