HR tech leader Tribepad achieves B-Corp certification and cements commitment to responsible tech and fairer hiring

Tags: PR and News

Tribepad, a leading British talent acquisition software innovator powering fairer, faster and better hiring, has been awarded full B-Corp certification. The achievement recognises the Sheffield-based company’s long-standing commitment to social impact, responsible business and ethical technology development.

Tribepad joins a small but growing group of UK-based B2B software companies to meet the rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency set by B Lab, the global non-profit behind the B-Corp movement. Based on the B Impact assessment, Tribepad achieved a standout score of 90.6 in its B‑Corp assessment, significantly surpassing the minimum requirement of 80 points and well above the average company score of 50.9.

The accreditation reflects Tribepad’s core mission to make the hiring process more inclusive and equitable, not only through its technology, but also through the way it operates as a business. From actively reducing bias in recruitment to supporting underrepresented talent and promoting sustainable business practices, the company’s values are embedded across its platform and culture.

Our customers trust us not just because we build great software – but because we build it with purpose. Becoming a certified B-Corp reflects our belief that business should be a force for good. It’s a mark of how we treat our people, our customers and our community, and how we hold ourselves to account as we scale.

Neil Armstrong
CEO, Tribepad

Tribepad serves more than 30 million users across major UK employers including Tesco, the Greggs, the NHS and Compass Group. The company has grown steadily since its founding in 2008, gaining recognition for its ethical stance, customer loyalty, and product innovation, including its award-winning Stop The Bias campaign and commitment to anonymous applications, fairer assessments and inclusive job design.

The company is also investing heavily in the responsible development of AI features within its platform, with a focus on transparency, fairness and human-centred design.

This isn’t about a badge or a box-tick. It’s about building trust with the people who use our software to find a job, with the employers we partner with, and with the wider community. The B-Corp certification gives external validation to what our team lives every day: that how you grow matters just as much as how fast you grow.

Neil Armstrong
CEO, Tribepad

Tribepad’s B-Corp certification follows a rigorous independent assessment, including evaluation of its governance structure, employee engagement, environmental impact and the social outcomes of its products and services. It proves the company’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and accountability in a rapidly evolving HR tech landscape.
