Three Tribepad clients shortlisted at the FIRM Awards 2019

Tags: PR and News

Established in 2013, The FIRM Awards are one of the most prestigious in the recruitment industry. That’s why we’re delighted to share the news that three of our clients have been shortlisted for prizes at the 2019 ceremony, which takes place on Thursday 21st March in London.

One of the things that sets Tribepad apart is the way we support and collaborate with clients. We get to know them, learn what they need and can build custom solutions that transform their hiring process. It’s this collaborative approach that makes us even more proud when clients receive recognition for their recruitment.

Who made the shortlist?

The FIRM awards really are designed to showcase the best of the best, so to see nominations in three different categories is just fantastic.

Sodexo UK & Ireland (supported by Tribepad) – Best Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment Strategy

Sodexo is a global company that provides on-site services, benefits and reward services as well as personal and home services. In the UK and Ireland, it employs 35,000 staff in more than 2000 locations. We worked with the team at Sodexo to shape the first version of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and continue to innovate with them today.

In 2015 Sodexo made a Public Service Pledge that formed the basis for many new Diversity and Inclusion measures. That paved the way for a number of successful initiatives, including the use of anonymous CVs, which saw a 6% increase in people being hired who are from an ethnic minority group.

In 2018, Sodexo’s continued work on diversity and inclusion saw the company achieve Disability Confident Leader status. The close partnership between Tribepad and Sodexo was a key factor in gaining the accreditation. Our recruitment software allowed the company’s team to form the necessary business processes and access detailed reporting tools.

Church of England (supported by Tribepad) – Outstanding Impact, Transformation and Change

The Church of England is a not-for-profit religious organisation that employs more than 2000 staff, over 20,000 Ordained Clergy Post Holders and at any one time more than 20,000 volunteers. Each year, the church makes around 2,000 new hires.

Before working with Tribepad, The Church of England had a large number of unfilled roles and no recruitment platform in place. It had no digital platform for advertising positions or processing applications, and all recruitment processes were handled manually through paper.

We worked closely with The Church to implement an ATS and job board platform, which we customised and launched in less than three months. The new system and processes revolutionised recruitment for candidates and recruiters.

Since launching in 2017, The Church has used their ATS to process thousands of applications via a more streamlined, cost-efficient workflow. More than 30% of job searches have come through mobile and the team has seen a marked increase in the diversity of candidates applying for roles.

Ursula Jayes, Helping Hands – Recruitment Leader of The Year

Helping Hands provide a blend of live-in or domiciliary care, dependent on the needs of the customer. In a competitive sector when it comes to recruitment, Helping Hands has a strong community-like workforce made up of 2200 live-in carers, 3100 hourly carers and 400 office staff.

Ursula Jayes is Head of Carer Recruitment and responsible for leading a team of 40 recruiters based both in the UK and overseas. Since joining Helping Hands in 2013, she has overseen a series of successful initiatives.

One big change that Ursula managed was the process of implementing Tribepad ATS. This helped streamline the recruitment process and led to a 25% reduction in carer losses during the candidate journey. Ursula also worked with us to develop a ‘one-click apply’ feature, where candidates are asked for the required information on one page.

We continue to work with the Helping Hands team and we’re not at all surprised that Ursula’s commitment to innovation is being recognised at this year’s FIRM Awards.

See you at the ceremony?

We’re going to be there at the awards ceremony on Thursday 21st March with our fingers firmly crossed for all of our shortlisted clients. Do you have plans to be at the FIRM Awards too? If so, make sure you find us and say hello – we are a friendly bunch and always happy to talk shop. Follow the evening using the following hashtag on twitter #FIRMAwards.
